Dragonfly Pond - $150

Imagine yourself taking a walk on a pleasant early Summer afternoon, along a winding path which wends itself around a pond. The sun is shining off the water's surface, lilies bob in the gentle breeze, and graceful dragonflies dart to and fro, their bodies sparkling like precious jewels.

This necklace is the bridge between your daydream and reality! Vibrant green, topaz, and ivory blend together to evoke thoughts of Summer. Strung beads are married to woven segments to delight your eyes with texture. Swarovski crystals sparkle, the pendant dangles and sways, and pearls add that perfect touch of elegance. A stunning piece far outside the ordinary, for those times when you want every eye on you.

The focal section features lampworked beads by Lois Oster of Wolf Song Designs, along with a carved wooden bead which depicts dragonflies in amongst the lilypads. Topaz Swarovski crystals, green swirled Czech glass cubes, and freshwater pearls provide the perfect accents. The gently spiraling tubes are woven from Japanese and Czech seed beads. The necklace is harmonious blending of several techniques and materials for an aesthetically pleasing whole.

Dragonfly Pond measures 17" long, with a 2 1/2" long segmented pendant. It fastens securely with an attractive Sterling Silver oval toggle clasp. All findings are Sterling Silver.
