Queen of Love and Beauty - $200

In fantasy tales, the knight who wins the jousting tournament is able to pick a maiden from the crowd and declare her the Queen of Love and Beauty. A romantic notion, to be sure, and it's only natural that many a young woman in these stories dreams of being picked by her favorite champion to represent the ideals of Love and Beauty, even if only for the duration of a night.

Create your own romantic tale when you wear this lavish necklace. A shimmering sea shell cabochon is surrounded by the highest quality Japanese seed beads in shades of iridescent raspberry, lightly matted gold, and opalescent cream. The ruffled pendant is accented by tendrils of fringe dripping with raspberry-hued Czech glass drops. A swag of beads crossed over this fringe, sparkling and shimmering even in low light. The pendant is suspended from a gently curling spiral rope woven of the same beads, accented by pearls, crystals, and Czech glass. The overall affect is stunning, a necklace fit for royalty, made for romance.

The Queen of Love and Beauty measures 19" long. It fastens securely with a very clever method involving a short strand of pearls and a loop. Wearing the clasp fastened at the first pearl adds an extra inch of length, but I much prefer to fasten it at the last pearl, which is slightly more secure and leaves an inch of luxurious pearls tickling the nape of your neck.
