Purple Dawn -- Clearance - $75
Just as the sun comes up, the sky turns a delicate shade of purple before fading into blue, with puffy white clouds drifting lazily in the breeze. Ok, maybe it doesn't. I don't get up early enough to know! Nonetheless, this necklace reminds me of a tranquil early morning, when the colors are still soft. Purple Dawn is a wonderful treasure, in that it contains a lampwork focal by Ann Sherm Baldwin of Schermo beads and lampwork accents by Joan Eckard, the Mothwoman. I've complimented the purples of the lampwork with alexandrite and tanzanite Swarovski crystals and white-opal Czech glass, then tied the whole thing together with tiny sterling silver spacers for added elegance.
This necklace holds a surprise, too! The lampworked ruffles and the alexandrite crystals both change color depending on the light, seeming to be a bluer purple or pinker purple.
Purple Dawn measures 17" long. It fastens securely with a sterling silver toggle clasp with a floral design.
On clearance. Was $125, now $75.
